Sure Action Electronic Chime, SA-Chime, Wired Sounder, Pleasant Ding-Dong Sound

Sure Action’s chime is an extraordinary high-quality sounder for use in countless applications. The chime is a three-conductor electronic device that is an ideal replacement for shrill screaming sounders. The chime emits a calm and pleasing “ding-dong” tone at a non-obtrusive volume level. A compact design allows the unit to be recess-mounted in small spaces. A smooth flat back with mounting holes allows for surface mounting using screws or ultra-thing double-sided adhesive tape. Standard installation requires three wires to be run to each chime location. The unit is powered by a constant 6-18 VDC source via the Red (+) and Black (-) wires. The blue wire is the trigger. Momentarily touching the blue wire to minus (-) will activate the sounder. The chime duration is approximately 4 seconds consisting of two 2-second “ding-dong” cycles. Activation cycles will continuously repeat until the trigger signal discontinues. FAQs Q: Will the chime work with AC power? A: No. The chime requires 6-18 volts DC power. Q: Can I use the chime to replace a device that only has two wires? A: Yes. Tie the black and blue wires together. Then match the wiring for the device that is being replaced. **Note: The chime will stop immediately upon loss of the trigger signal regardless of where it is in the activation cycle.
